Unlocking Potential with Entrepreneurship Training for Vocational High School Students

Abstract

This training was specifically organized for 50 students from Muhammadiyah Vocational High School in Mlati, located in Sleman Regency. This activity aims to provide the necessary knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship, utilizing diverse teaching methods such as lectures, demonstrations, and classroom discussions. Through this approach, students are expected to gain a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts of entrepreneurship. The training aims to foster a strong entrepreneurial spirit among the students so that after completing their education, they will not only focus on seeking employment but also be motivated to create job opportunities for themselves and others. With the rise of new entrepreneurs, it is hoped that this initiative will contribute to the government’s efforts in reducing unemployment rates and improving the overall welfare of society. This training serves as an essential first step in shaping a self-reliant and competitive generation in addressing the challenges of an increasingly demanding job market.

Author Biographies

Tarso, Technology Yogyakarta University

is a practitioner with an educational background in management, specializing in entrepreneurship and digital marketing. He has a deep interest in various activities related to disseminating knowledge in the fields of entrepreneurship and digital marketing. His dedication can be seen through his involvement in various training and outreach programs aimed at helping individuals and groups improve their entrepreneurial abilities and utilize digital technology for more effective marketing strategies. Handika Suryatama, Yogyakarta State University

is a student majoring in Elementary School Teacher Education at Yogyakarta State University. As a student, he actively participated in various activities, both on and off campus, as a means to gain knowledge and enrich his experience. His participation in these activities reflects a strong commitment to developing the academic and professional skills needed in the world of education. Surya Adi Saputra, Yogyakarta State University

is a student majoring in Electronics Education at Yogyakarta State University. As a student, he not only focused on academic aspects but also showed great interest in conducting research in the fields of education and electronics. Apart from that, he is also actively involved in community service activities, where he utilizes the knowledge and skills he has to contribute directly to society, especially in advancing the fields of technology and education in the surrounding environment. Akhmad Hanama, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan

 is a student at the Master of Education Management at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta. Throughout his academic journey, he has consistently focused on developing innovative and effective teaching methods aimed at enhancing the learning experience. His approach emphasizes fostering student collaboration and active participation, believing that these elements are key to building critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students. Deny Hadi Siswanto, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan

is a student in the Master of Mathematics Education at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta. As a dedicated student, he has worked on developing creative and effective teaching methods, focusing on making mathematics more accessible and engaging for learners.
