Abstract
This study aims to examine the impact of lighting in creating an atmosphere that reflects a specific theme or style applied in the interior design of Orient Hotel Hideaway Jakarta, making it perceivable, tangible, and observable to users and visitors. Lighting is a crucial element in establishing the ambiance and character of an interior space. Various types of lighting can be implemented depending on the desired mood, and it also serves to enhance the visualization of the room’s stylistic concept. The research employs observation and comparative analysis based on relevant theories. The findings and conclusions are presented descriptively, derived from the researcher’s observations compared with theoretical references. The study concludes that the lighting applied in the interiors of Orient Hotel Hideaway Jakarta effectively contributes to creating an atmosphere that embodies the Vintage Oriental theme adopted in the hotel’s design.
